For more than three decades, SAMON has helped the refrigeration industry detect leaks early and keep people, property and the planet safe.
Based in southern Sweden, we develop and manufacture our products in our own factory, and as part of the wider Safe Monitoring Group, we have access to expertise from around the world.

Our award-winning GLACIÄR series continues to grow with new products and features, built for the low-GWP and natural refrigerant systems of today and tomorrow.

Our industry has changed a lot since the Montreal Protocol came into force in 1987. First came the phase-out of ozone-depleting substances, and now the phasedown of high-GWP refrigerants. Both continue to push innovation and new technologies across the market.
As the move toward lower-GWP and natural refrigerants like CO₂, ammonia and hydrocarbons gathers pace, new safety challenges come with it: toxicity, flammability and the risk of asphyxiation.
Keeping people safe in these environments is at the heart of what we do. Everyone deserves to go home to their family and friends at the end of the day.
